'Mioli Pass' Honors Late Park Ridge Football Coach

PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- A memorial honoring a former Park Ridge football coach who died last year is now open at the Doc Lewis Field.

The Pascack Road memorial remembers Gary Mioli, a guidance counselor, former teacher and longtime head football coach at Park Ridge High School. 

Mioli had a 127-103 coaching record with the Owls, leading them to their first and only state sectional title in 1995. 

The former Cresskill resident died at 57 years old as the head football coach of the Owls.
